BREAKING: Seven struck by vehicle at Black Lives Matter rally, suspect in custody

A vehicle struck multiple people in Manhattan, New York Friday evening, according to the NYPD.

A vehicle struck multiple people in Manhattan, New York Friday evening, according to the NYPD.

Seven people were injured. The driver is now in custody, according to NewsNation.

The FDNY says four of the injured sustained only minor injuries, while the other three were more serious.

"Please avoid the area of 3rd Avenue & 39 Avenue in Manhattan due to a vehicle collision involving multiple pedestrians. Information at this time is preliminary, updates to follow," said the NYPD News Twitter account.
