It has been revealed that Special Counsel Robert Hur resigned last week following the conclusion of his investigation into President Joe Biden's handling of classified documents.

Despite now being a private citizen, Hur was still bound by the same rules applied to other Department of Justice employees during his hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday given the nature of his testimony.

A source confirmed to the Hill that Hur had, in fact, left his position after completing his investigation, as many special counsels before him have done.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
