Prime Minister Justin Trudeau assured Canadians that the a total of 84 million doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will arrive on Canadian shores by the end of September.

Trudeau assured that four million doses would arrive by the end of March.

The Trudeau government has been under heavy fire from media across the board, as the country continues to fall behind the likes of the UK, Israel, and now, most other advanced European countries.

Trudeau also announced that later today, Ministers Hajdu, Blair and Leblanc would announce details of "new testing, quarantine, and enforcement for anyone driving or flying back to Canada," with new measures taking effect effect on February 22.

"I had a great chat from Anette from Ottawa. She had written to me about people vacationing abroad, and as she put it, 'ignoring rues that have been in place for quite some time.' Today, I want to tell you what else we're going to be doing about this," said Trudeau.

"In addition to suspending flights from sun destinations, international flights will be arriving at only four major airports."

Those who do not abide by the Trudeau Liberals' COVID rules for self-isolation are subject to heavy fines "and even jail time."

Trudeau announced that $53 million would also be invested into a "Variants of concern strategy" to monitor variants such as those from the UK and South Africa.

"We're putting our best experts on it, including researchers, epidemiologists, modelers. With investments like this, Canada is ready to detect, track, and treat new cases."
