2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump has been declared the winner of New Hampshire’s Republican primary election.

The Associated Press declared Trump the winner, with around 18 percent of the vote in at the time of publishing. The race was called at 8 pm, when the last of the state's polls closed. At the time of calling it, Trump had around 52 percent of the vote while Haley had 46.

New Hampshire's primary elections are the first to take place in the nation. The first GOP caucus took place in Iowa on January 15, with Trump winning with 51 percent of the vote.

In a final Suffolk University/NBC10 Boston/Boston Globe tracking poll released on Tuesday morning as voters headed to the polls, Trump received 60 percent support compared to Haley’s 38 percent.

This is a breaking story and will be updated.
