On Sunday, former President Donald Trump reversed course and announced that he would not be testifying at his New York civil fraud case on Monday.

The announcement came in a series of posts on Truth Social in which Donald Trump stated that he has "already testified to everything" and has nothing more to say about the "corrupt" case, calling it "election interference" at the hands of President Biden's "weaponized" Justice Department.

"As everyone knows, I have successfully and conclusively testified in the corrupt, Biden directed, New York State Attorney General's rigged trial against me. World renowned experts, highly respected bank and insurance executives, real estate professionals, as well as others, both honest and credible, have stated, cleary and unequivocally, that I, and my very successful company, did nothing wrong! My financial statements were conservative, liquid, and "extrordinary," Trump said.

"A top professor from NYU stern said, 'If Mr. Trump were my student, he would get an 'A' on his financial statements. I've never seen a statement that provided so much detail, and is so transparent, as these statements.' Plus, they all have an ironclad disclaimer clause stating that the users must do their own due diligence and analysis - No reliance! The only fraud committed was by the highly partisan and out of control judge, and racist A.G. (Who promised that 'I will get Trump')," the former president continued.

"They claimed that Mar-A-Lago was worth only $18,000,000, when it is worth 50 to 100 times that amount, in order to illegally reduce my values and make a fake case against me. They did this on other properties, as well, and wouldn't give me a jury. Likewise, the A.G. thugs do not want to acknowledge that I have paid almost 300 million dollars in New York City and state taxes during the years in question. Importantly, I won at the appellate division, which effectively ended most of the case, but the biased judge refused to accept their order, an unheard of first!" said Trump.

"Based on the above, and the fact that our unassailable final expert witness has been so strong and irrefutable in his testimony, which will conclude on Tuesday, and that I have already testified to everything and have nothing more to say other than that this is a complete and total election interference (Biden campaign!) witch hunt, that will do nothing but keep businesses out of New York, I will not be testifying on Monday. MAGA!" Trump concluded.

The lawsuit, brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, accuses Trump, his two eldest sons, and some of their family businesses of inflating their assets to secure better loan terms.

The former president and his supporters have cast doubt on the appraisals provided by the prosecution, including the valuation of his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida at just $18 million.

In addition to announcing that he will not be testifying on Monday, Trump also took aim at AG Letitia James on claims that she is responsible for driving businesses out of New York. He also slammed the prosecutors star witness, disbarred lawyer Michael Cohen, who Trump called a "sleazebag" and "admitted to lying under oath."

"Don't forget, in addition to everything else in the fake and fraudulent 'case' that peekaboo has brought against me, their so-called 'star,' and only, witness, sleazebag and disbarred former lawyer, Michael Cohen, admitted in court to repeatedly lying under oath. It was a total breakdown, a non-recoverable Perry Mason moment. That alone ends this Biden driven witch hunt. Election interference!" said Trump.

"Letitia 'Peekaboo' James, and the same team from the New York State Attorney General's Office, are responsible for driving ExxonMobil out of New York, taking billions of dollars in taxes and thousands of jobs to Dallas, and other cities. On top of all that, Peekaboo, representing New York State, lost the case!" Trump added.

The 45th president has maintained that this case is a "scam" and "should have never been brought," telling reporters that it "should be dismissed."

After last week's trial, Trump said his case will ensure that businesses in New York will think twice before doing so in the future.

Trump said that "businesses are watching," adding that "no business will go back into New York, no business will frankly stay in New York" because of a "Marxist form of trying to steal your business."

"This is weaponization of justice. This is something that nobody's ever seen to this extent. It’s called election interference. It’s a sad day for our country that a thing like this can take place. I’m sitting in a courthouse instead of being in Iowa where I should be, even though I’m leading by about 40 points," Trump said.

"This is a political witch hunt. This is meant to influence an election. This also comes from the White House, this is not just a state matter," he added.
