BREAKING: Tucker Carlson exposes how Zelensky is suspending democracy in Ukraine in order to 'preserve' it

"So in a peaceful democracy, you have to debate your political opponents in public and that's tiresome, but in a war for democracy, you can just throw them in jail or have them executed."

"Democracy in Ukraine appears to be suspended by the world's foremost democracy advocate himself," Volodymyr Zelensky, Tucker Carlson said on his latest episode on Twitter.

Carlson played a clip of Zelensky in which he was asked by a reporter if there would be elections.

"This is a global question," he says smiling. "If we win, there will be." He asserted that "elections should be held in peacetime, when there is no war, according to the law."

Zelensky, Carlson noted, has jailed his political opponents. Biden, with multiple prosecutions of Trump through the Department of Justice, is looking to jail his.

"When normal people see war," Carlson said, "they see death and destruction, sadness and suffering. But that's not what demagogues see. They understand it differently. They know that war means power, mostly for them. During war time, everything they do can be justified. Wars, the gravest of all emergencies, imagine the Covid lockdowns times 1000 plus drones.

"Once war breaks out," Carlson continued, "politicians become gods with the power of life and death. So in a peaceful democracy, you have to debate your political opponents in public and that's tiresome, but in a war for democracy, you can just throw them in jail or have them executed.

"You can see that many in Washington are looking forward to that moment. And that may be why they so fervently support Joe Biden even many Republicans against a potential opponent, the only opponent who opposes the war in Ukraine."

That, of course, would be Donald Trump, who has said outright that were he to win back the presidency, he would seek peace and end the war in Ukraine.

"Why are we at war with Russia?" Carlson asked.

In trying to explain to himself and to the rest of America why the US is at war with Russia, he delved into the Biden regime's reasons, which mostly consist of upholding democracy globally. But "wars for democracy always cancel democracy in the process," he said.

"You may have found yourself wondering recently is the world slides closer to nuclear annihilation than any time in human history," Carlson said. "Why exactly are we at war with Russia? It seems like there's a pretty significant downside to this particular foreign policy decision starting with economic collapse and ending potentially with extinction.

"So is there a good reason we're doing it? So many innocent young people have been killed so many hundreds of billions of dollars have been wasted some of them from the US Treasury. So what's the point? Are we really doing this so the Biden family can repay its debts to the oligarchs who financed their beach house in Rehoboth?"

Biden has been accused of taking millions in bribes from Ukrainian energy company Burisma in order to affect US policy toward Ukraine when he was vice president under Obama and in charge of that policy. IRS whistleblowers have recently spoken out, saying that they were prevented from an investigation into Hunter Biden's shady taxes by the very Department of Justice controlled by Joe Biden.

A memo held by the FBI detailed the intelligence from a paid informant showed that the CEO of Burisma believed no one would find out the depths of their financial scheming for more than a decade. A trail of accounting shows, per the House GOP, that funds went from Burisma through an intricare web of accounts right into the Biden's pockets.

Not only is Zelensky a president who is continuing to demand money from the US, but has shut down churches, jailed his political opposition, and has now said that there won't be a new presidential election until the end of the war, and even then, only if Ukraine wins against their Russian aggressors.

And Biden, of course, is veering toward decline. Carlson said he's already well in the throes of his denouement, reading punctuation off of teleprompters, and barely making sense half the time.
