Utah Congressman Burgess Owens has called out some of the racist comments and slurs made by leftwing pundits against black conservatives, which included a white cartoonist portraying him as a white members of the Klu Klux Klan and a comments that black conservative Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas "doesn't like being black."
American actor Samuel Jackson called Justice Clarence Thomas "Uncle Clarence," after the Justice supported overturning Roe v. Wade, Owens said. Jackson also said a ban on interracial marriage is next. Thomas is married to Ginni Thomas, a white woman. The remarks were condemned by a group of black conservatives.

Congressman Bennie Thompson also piled on, calling Justice Clarence "Uncle Tom," citing his support for voter ID and opposition to affirmative action.
"(Thompson) stated that Justice Thomas doesn't like black people," Owens said. "He doesn't like being black." Owens, who appeared to be in disbelief over the claims, repeated Thompson's comments for emphasis.
"I'm gonna take a second and repeat that one," Owens said. "'Justice Thomas doesn't like black people. He doesn't like being black.'"
Thompson, a Democrat representative and chair of the January 6 Committee, has defended his comments to CNN, saying he can make such remarks because he's also black.
Meanwhile, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot and Hillary Clinton attacked Justice Thomas, calling him "angry" and saying his decisions would overturn gay marriage, Owens said.
The justice wasn't the only minority conservative who was attacked. Owens noted that CNN suggested that Congresswoman Mayra Flores isn’t the real deal and holds views outside Latino mainstream, he said.
And Owens was portrayed as a white Klansmen by a white newspaper cartoonist for the Utah State Salt Lake City Tribune.
"So typical of the condescending racism," Owens said.
"If these same attacks were aimed at Barack Obama, it would be called out by this committee and the media for exactly what it is — pure racism," he said.
