The former principal secretary to Justin Trudeau tweeted earlier today that he would like to present his evidence to the Justice and Human Rights Committee which is currently involved one of the ongoing investigations into the SNC-Lavalin scandal.

Mr. Butts resigned as Principal Secretary to Justin Trudeau earlier in February when the Globe and Mail first published explosive allegations that members in the PMO had attempted to "pressure" Jody Wilson-Raybould to help SNC-Lavalin secure a deferred prosecution agreement.

Since those allegations went public the former Attorney General has publicly spoken out stating that she received veiled threats and pressure from eleven individuals, including members of the PMO as well as the Prime Minister himself.

With the Attorney General's testimony now sending shock-waves across the nation, and the Liberal party seeming almost completely incompetent in their response to the issue, it will be interesting to see how the evidence put forward by Mr. Butts will be of "assistance" to the Justice Committe.

What do you think about this developing scandal? Will Butts present game-changing evidence?
