His death has not silenced his voice.
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk's social media pages have gained millions of followers since he was assassinated on Wednesday afternoon at Utah Valley University. Tyler Robinson, 22, has been charged with his murder.
As some have predicted, such as Erika Kirk, his death has led to him having an even more powerful voice. In the week following his death, according to CNN, Charlie Kirk's Instagram account has added 5.6 million followers, his TikTok has gained 2 million, and his Facebook page has added 3.4 million followers as well.
Kirk's YouTube channel also increased from 3.8 million subscribers to 5 million since he was killed. The views on his combined social media pages have been over 94 million. His podcast soared to #1.
Turning Point USA has also increased in its following on YouTube, from 3.3 million to 3.9 million subscribers. The data came from SocialBlade, which said that there has also been a spike in views as well as likes on previous content as well.
Erika Kirk, who addressed the nation just two days after her husband's murder, has over 3.3 million views on her address just on Turning Point USA's YouTube channel, not counting views from other streams from other news organizations.
“Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby,” Erika Kirk said in the video. “I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.”
"To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die. It won't. I refuse to let that happen. It will not die. All of us will refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband's name, and I will make sure of it," she added during the address.
