"I will join the marchers, to celebrate what makes this country so great."

Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will be among those marching in the "No Kings" protest slated for Saturday, October 18, despite the event being backed by radical-left groups like the Communist Party of the United States as well as other socialist organizations.

On the Senate floor, Schumer said, "I will join the marchers, to celebrate what makes this country so great." This comes after he said that Americans should "forcefully rise up" against the fraud case filed against New York State Attorney General Letitia James.

Schumer also posted to X, "I encourage Americans everywhere, Americans who love this country, who care about our democracy to march peacefully. And the No Kings rally says that in a very strong way, where millions of Americans will come together to say just that—that we don't want kings in America. And I say to my fellow citizens: do not let Donald Trump and Republicans intimidate you into silence. That's what they want to do. They're afraid of the truth."

However, many were quick to point out that the backers of the event include organizations that openly endorse the ideologies of communism as well as socialism. The Post Millennial's Andy Ngo posted to X in response, "Why are the sponsors of the event Communists and socialists? Those ideologies are antithetical to the American philosophy and constitution, and the country spent decades at war with those systems of governance."

Aside from the "No Kings" protest in Washington, DC, there are separate events set to take place around the country at the same time. One protest is set to take place in Portland, however, Antifa terror networks are calling on their members to infiltrate the event that a flyer claimed is "meant to pacify the people" and is "organized by feds with an interest in quelling meaningful and effective social uprising."

The flyer added, "F*ck their lib march, let's show them what antifascism really looks like."

Other calls have been put out to Antifa militants to infiltrate and take advantage of the "No Kings" protests, something that the group has done before with mass protests and riots.
