It was "like something out of a horror show."
A Houston, Texas, man was arrested earlier this month for allegedly forcing a woman at gunpoint to perform sex acts on him and a dog while he videotaped the incident using his cell phone.
According to police reports obtained by ABC 13, 58-year-old Dennis Allen Carter was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of bestiality.
Court records indicate that the woman told investigators in August 2023 that Carter picked her up at a gas station and took her to his home, where he held her there overnight. She said he put a gun to her head and told her that if she didn't do what he said, then he would kill her.
He also "kept telling her to 'quit screaming' and slapped her multiple times," documents revealed. The prosecutor described the incident "like something out of a horror show."
When Carter was interviewed by police, he claimed that the woman had consented to the actions.
Carter was already required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life after he was convicted of aggravated sexual abuse of a child in 1981, as well as aggravated sexual assault in 1997.
Carter was originally given a $350,000 bond on the four different charges, but police filed a motion to keep the man behind bars in an attempt to revoke his parole.
