A trans-identified male pedophile who was housed in a women’s prison has spoken out in support of former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Katie Dolatowski, 22, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in a supermarket bathroom just weeks after using a cellphone to spy on a different girl in a separate supermarket bathroom. Dolatowski was held in segregation at Cornton Vale women’s prison in Scotland.

The Daily Mail has revealed that Dolatwoski frequently tweeted in support of Sturgeon’s controversial gender recognition reforms, which was blocked by the British Parliament but would have made it easier for people, including convicted sex offenders, to change their legal sex.

Tweeting from a now-deleted Twitter account two days after Sturgeon announced her resignation as first minister, Dolatowski said, “I will miss Nicola Sturgeon. It’s a shame she’s leaving.”

Tweeting under the name Alyanna McKenna, on March 7 Dolatowski wrote, “Nicola was a great first minister, it’s a shame that people are trying to make her out as an evil person.”

Alyanna McKenna is Dolatwoski’s new identity. According to the Daily Mail, the convicted pedophile has been referred to by this new name in court documents.

Dolatowski reportedly spent a night in prison last month after breaching a curfew order, resulting in the sex offender’s father calling for Dolatowski to be sent back to prison.

Marion Calder, of women’s rights group For Women Scotland, said she is not surprised that sex offenders would back the new gender reforms.

“The ability to construct a new identity is of course appealing to those wishing to hide a criminal past,” Calder told The Telegraph.

The Gender Recognition Reform Act sought to lower the age at which a person can change their legal sex, from 18 to 16, while removing the need for a formal diagnosis of gender dysphoria. An amendment proposed by a Conservative MSP that would have prevented convicted sex offenders from changing their legal sex was rejected by the Scottish government.

Dolatowski claimed the law would not have a negative impact on women’s rights or make it easier for males to access women’s spaces.

“Why don’t you tell me. What parts of the gender bill actually give trans people more rights and/or access to women’s only spaces,” tweeted Dolatowski on Feb 9. “As women’s aid and rape crisis already work on self ID.”

Dolatowski also expressed support for the new Scottish First Minister Humza Yousaf, an avid supporter of Sturgeon’s Gender Recognition Reform Bill.

“#HumzaForScotland. Best candidate. Better than fake feminists,” tweeted Dolatowski on March 14.

The convicted sex offender who assaulted a girl in a public bathroom has also tweeted recently claiming not to be a threat in women’s bathrooms.

“Like god. You can’t speak for all women. You hold your views. I hold mine. I know trans women aren’t a threat if I use the bathroom,” tweeted Dolatowski on April 1.

“It’s not my responsibility to make you feel comfortable. I know I’m not a threat to anyone,” said the convicted pedophile on March 21. “If you don’t feel safe. Don’t use public bathrooms.”

Earlier this year, JK Rowling pointed out the inconsistency in Sturgeon’s decision to refuse the transfer request of convicted serial rapist Isla Bryson while allowing Dolatowski to remain in a women’s prison.

"So: in @NicolaSturgeon’s Scotland, trans women AREN’T women if they’re convicted double rapists, like Adam ‘Isla Bryson’ Graham," tweeted Rowling.

“However, trans woman and paedophile Katie Dolatowski, who covertly filmed a 12-year-old and attempted to rape a 10-year-old, both offences committed in women’s public bathrooms, IS a woman and remains in the women’s prison from which Adam Graham is to be removed,” Rowling added.
