President Trump established "Task Force 250" via executive order which birthed Freedom 250 in order to to help lead the nation in celebration of its 250th birthday. The celebrations cover a volley of locations around the United States with the flagship event held on July 4th in Washington DC.

The White House has stated that Freedom 250 will be a collaboration with private groups, non-profits and educational institutions as the year long event reaches the heartland of the country.

The initiative also encourages Americans to take part in the celebrations in various leadership roles ranging from State Ambassador to City Liaison. Some events will also notably feature dubbed "Freedom Trucks" which the Freedom 250 website describes as "custom-built, fully mobile museums designed to deliver an immersive, inspiring experience anywhere in the country."

The event will climax on July 4th with an address from the President and what the White House states will be the "largest fireworks display in the history of the world."
