An armed robbery at a vape shop in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday ended with two suspects dead after two customers attempted to apprehend the would-be thieves.

Two robbery suspects, 19-year-old Anthony Lee and 18-year-old Martavious Henderson were killed, while their accomplice managed to escape.

According to KSLA, the incident took place shortly before 5:00 pm on Saturday at Moe's Pipes and More, which is located in the 1900 block of Centenary Boulevard.

The three robbery suspects allegedly entered the store with firearms and proceeded to harass the man behind the counter. They initially demanded he hand over merchandise, as well as a handgun, but before long two of them jumped the counter and began stealing products off the wall. While the clerk pleaded with them to stop, his calls were not heeded, and they continued pillaging.

Surveillance footage from within the store showed two customers standing near a display case watching the situation unfold. When things escalated, they ran out of the store to their vehicle, a blue Chevrolet 1500 extended cab pickup, and retrieved guns.

When the robbery suspects exited with their loot, the men engaged them and a gunfight ensued. Lee and Henderson, who was scheduled to appear in court later this month on charges stemming from a prior robbery, were killed, while the third made a run for it. He has been described as a black male, and was seen wearing gray shorts and a black hoodie.

Law enforcement has called on the public to help identify the third suspect as well as the two customers.
