Ray Fisher had a strong reaction to give WarnerMedia after the company’s Twitter account posted an official response to the Derek Chauvin verdict.

WarnerMedia being the home of the recent Justice League movies, said yesterday: “While this verdict doesn’t bring back those we’ve so wrongly lost, we know that it brings us closer to significant change. We reaffirm our commitment to be part of the solution by using our platforms, content, and resources to advance racial equity and social justice.”

As noted by The Daily Wire, Fisher has a contentious history with the studio. In recent weeks the actor publicly came out with accusations of racial abuse levied against him by Director Joss Whedom in the midst of Justice League reshoots.

Fisher told Forbes in October last year that he firmly believed skin color played a role in minimizing minority actors’ roles in the movie. “I always suspected that race was a determining factor for the way that things went down, but it wasn’t until this past summer that I was able to prove it.”

Two months later, WarnerMedia officials said “remedial action” was taken to rectify the situation. To the ire of Fisher who said the company was protecting the higher-ups.

Social media reactions from brand accounts on Twitter have received mixed reviews. In the case of the Las Vegas Raiders they said “I CAN BREATHE 4-20-21” after the Chauvin verdict.  The New York Mets claimed it was "bigger than baseball." Finally in a public speech Speaker Nancy Pelosi thanked George Floyd for dying “for justice.”

LeBron James targeted the police officer from Columbus, Ohio by saying “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY” alongside a picture of his face. This being in reference to yesterday’s shooting death of Ma'Kiah Bryant, after Nicholas Rheardon stopped Bryant from stabbing someone with a knife.
