DHS expands public ‘Worst of the Worst’ database showing illegal alien criminals

The expansion of the database is part of a broader effort by DHS to publicize the federal government's immigration enforcement actions and to provide greater visibility into the criminal records of those taken into custody.

The expansion of the database is part of a broader effort by DHS to publicize the federal government's immigration enforcement actions and to provide greater visibility into the criminal records of those taken into custody.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) added an additional 5,000 Criminal Illegal Aliens to their “Worst of the Worst” list, bringing the total number of illegal aliens recorded to more than 35,000. The WOW (Worst of the Worst) website was launched on Dec. 8, 2025, and reveals hundreds of thousands of criminal aliens who have been arrested across all 50 states. A mission of DHS is to remove criminal illegal aliens from the United States.

“To continue the Trump Administration’s mission of transparency with the American people,
has added another 5,000 criminal illegal aliens to the Worst of the Worst website,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “With this webpage, the American people can search through the criminals that we’ve arrested in their communities.

"Criminal illegal aliens arrested by ICE include murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and gang members. If you see an ICE law enforcement officer, thank them for removing these thugs from your neighborhoods.” The criminal histories of these individuals are far-reaching, including homicide, sex offenses against children, driving under the influence, aggravated , hit-and-run offenses, drug possession, and arson.

This comes as President Trump's efforts to enforce federal border and immigration law come under renewed fury from the left. As anti-ICE protesters continue in Newark, New Jersey, the increased threat to federal law enforcement has not gone unnoticed by the White House.

“While sanctuary politicians continue to smear ICE law enforcement, our officers continue to put their lives on the line to make America safe again. Yesterday, our law enforcement arrested murderers, pedophiles, and robbers,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “As our officers arrest the worst of the worst, they are facing coordinated campaigns of violence against them, including a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats.”

The expansion of the database is part of a broader effort by DHS to publicize the federal government's immigration enforcement actions and to provide greater visibility into the criminal records of those taken into custody. Trump administration officials argue that making the information public helps demonstrate the scope of ICE operations and reinforces the government's commitment to public safety.
