Several agencies worked together to save eight children previously considered missing and arrested eighteen sex offenders. According to KY3, operations "Return of the School Year" and "NO Saints and Sinners 2021" ran in the New Orleans area from August 1 to September 30.

In addition to saving the children, the two-month operation also uncovered allegations of human sex trafficking of minors. The Sex Offender Investigations Branch arrested 18 people during operation "NO Saints and Sinners 2021." Six of those arrested were fugitives.

Police already wanted one of the men arrested for sexual battery on a 7-year-old. Meanwhile, another man was wanted for producing child porn of a teenage victim related to a prior case. The US Marshalls Service has also said another suspect was identified via a DNA kit related to a rape and kidnapping in 1989.
