Sophia Paige Brink, a California legislative aide and Republican gubernatorial candidate, alleged she was denied service and subjected to antisemitic remarks at French Guys Bakery in Seattle’s University Village on Friday, after wearing a Charlie Kirk hat and a Star of David necklace.

Brink, who was in Seattle to attend a memorial event for conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at the University of Washington, alleges that a bakery employee, who identified herself as the manager, refused to serve her and hurled inflammatory accusations based on her appearance.

“It is company policy to not serve anyone with those hats, because that hat represents white supremacy, Hitler, and the KKK. You are racist and a white supremacist,” Brink claims the employee told her.

Brink said that the employee then allegedly pointed at Brink’s Star of David necklace and called it “Nazi symbolism.”

Brink attempted to record the encounter, but the employee is captured on video threatening, “I can arrest you for recording.” Brink says her mother, who was present, tried to talk to the employee and was told, “All Republicans are the KKK and Hitler.”

Following the incident, the employee posted several TikTok videos calling Brink a “racist” and “white supremacist.” In one video, the employee falsely claimed Brink had been wearing a red MAGA hat; even after Brink posted photos clearly showing she was wearing a black “Turning Point USA / Charlie Kirk” hat during the encounter.

Brink reviewed the employee’s TikTok account, finding numerous videos promoting far-left ideological views, including statements that “white people have hatred, violence, and vitriol inside of them,” “moderate men are bad people,” and “Israel kidnapped Greta.” In other clips, the employee claims Israel is committing “ethnic cleansing and genocide,” criticizes conservatives, and admits she was previously fired from a “Zionist-owned” workplace.

The employee also posted a follow-up video addressing the bakery incident. She denied antisemitism but openly admitted refusing service because of Brink’s Charlie Kirk hat, calling her a “racist” and “white supremacist,” and stating, “We don’t serve racist people here.”

French Guys Bakery released a statement on Instagram acknowledging the situation: “A concern was raised about an interaction between a customer and an employee. We want to state that we do not tolerate antisemitism, racism, or discrimination of any kind. We are reviewing the matter carefully to ensure that both our customers and employees are treated with respect.”

Federal law, as well as Seattle law, prohibits refusing service based on a person’s expressed political ideology. While the employee has claimed she ejected Brink for political reasons and not antisemitism, her admission may still violate local anti-discrimination ordinances.

Brink says she reached out to the bakery via phone, email, and social media, but was ultimately blocked by the business. She is considering legal options. The Post Millennial reached out to the bakery for comment, but has not received a response.

On Monday, Brink was informed that the employee was placed on leave while the bakery conducts a "thorough investigation."

Caught that Leftist being exactly what she claimed to hate: racist, biased, hateful. The Bakery?! Oh, they support her, but don’t want to pay the consequences by admitting it. Seattle is nothing but a Leftist, crime-infested cesspool to be avoided like the plague.

Jeanne

Do you somehow not remember the ruling celebrated by conservatives wherein the US Supreme Court held in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission that the owners of that bakery did in fact have the right to refuse service to a couple based on the owners' 1st Amendment protections? This is now established precedent; pursuant to that precedent, this woman had a right to refuse service to those she has reasonable grounds refuse service to those she believes support war crimes & genocide based on her personal religious convictions. Her beliefs whether you like it or not, can reasonably be based on her religious principles. Again, it was the Zionists who conflated war crimes with Jewish symbolism.

Jeffrey

Israelis are in fact committing horrific war crimes against a captive population. The flag of Israel with the Star of David is now viewed around the world as a symbol of hatred & genocide. Zionists like this writer who constantly conflate Judaism with the psychotic cult of Zionism have created a backlash that all Jews will suffer. Prominent Jewish figures like Katie Halper, Max Blumenthal & son of Holocaust survivor Aaron Mate, & the Jews leading the university protests against Israeli war crimes have continually warned of this backlash. You created it by horrific war crimes while those crimes are being livestreamed across the world. Zionism represents hatred not only of Palestinians but especially of Jews who speak against the crimes you promote.

Jeffrey

Edit -- You created it by rationalizing horrific war crimes while those crimes are being livestreamed...
