Documents recently revealed that the Fauci-led National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) authorized $1.68M in taxpayer dues to experiment on beagles.

The documents obtained by the White Coat Waste Project (WCW), a watchdog organization that investigates scientific research, said SRI International researched on beagles between October 2018 and February 2019. The experimentation, later deemed "unnecessary" by the FDA.

According to the Daily Caller, the studies "involved force-feeding or injecting 44 beagle puppies aged 6-8 months old with an experimental drug before killing and dissecting them," and also "involved cutting the dogs' vocal cords so they could not bark, as well as experimentation on mice."

The NIH documents stated the experiments "provided data of suitable quality and integrity to support application to the U.S . Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory agencies." However, following the FDA statement this summer, it "does not mandate that human drugs be studied in dogs."

The Caller reported that "previous WCW investigations revealed that NIAID directed hundreds of thousands of dollars to research that involved deliberately infecting beagles with parasitic diseases before they were scheduled to be euthanized."

This isn't the first time the NIAID conducted unorthodox animal experiments worldwide. On September 1, 2021, the WCW exposed a Tunisian experiment where flies ate beagle puppies alive. As part of the study, sedated dogs were locked in cages in the desert for nine consecutive nights, where starved sand flies were free to feed on them at the cost of $424,455.

Justin Goodman of the WCW stated, "People are naming puppies after Anthony Fauci, but he's actual dogs' and taxpayers' worst nightmare. From poisoning puppies here at home to funding gain-of-function experiments in China, the government's highest-paid employee has proven he can't be trusted to spend taxpayer dollars responsibly."

"With NIH director Francis Collins retiring, Fauci should be the next one to go," he added.

The Fauci-led NIAID has also been the subject of public outcry for bypassing an oversight committee to give a large sum of money to the Wuhan Virology institute, now recognized widely as the place of origin for COVID.
