But the guys are passing it without a problem.

If it’s anything like that time the FDNY allowed a woman to become a firefighter despite failing their fitness test? The US Army’s developing situation can be ignored by military leadership like it’s not a big deal.

According to Military.com “nearly half” of the female soldiers are failing the new Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) that was introduced more than half a year ago.

It's very straight forward. "Female soldiers continue to lag male soldier scores in all events," the outlet says, citing a briefing report. 44% of women fail, but only 7% of men. The Army might need to make additional changes before the ACFT leaves it’s beta period after March 2022.

Keep in mind that the US Army already adjusted” the test to better accommodate women back in March. So yes, it’s an identity politics related issue that’s putting the military’s physical readiness and capacity on the line.

"The ACFT -- as part of the Army's overall physical readiness program -- continues to evolve, reduce injuries and empower Soldiers to perform basic Soldier tasks,” a FORSCOM spokesperson told Military.com.

The outlet explains how definitive fitness test scores are for military jobs. Higher results means better career opportunities.  Despite that, the average score for enlisted women (343) is below a passing grade (360). In contrast, enlisted men have an average score of 461.

President Biden’s priorities for the military don’t focus on physical fitness. Instead his administration is focused on politicized issues and ideological posturing. In the first few months of his administration he reopened allowing transgendered people into the military and granted them permission to have taxpayer funded transition surgeries.

Beyond that, the new agenda for the armed forces spends a great deal of time on progressive ideology. In the line of duty the US military is forced to dwell on identity politics as even the Department of Defense is ideologically cracking down on their own people.
