The Post Millennial reported yesterday that naked cyclists exposed themselves to kids at the Seattle pride parade. Influencers Brian Krassenstein and Ron Filipkowski as well as former Star Trek actor George Takei reacted strongly to the coverage, seemingly less upset that men exposed themselves to kids than they were at the report itself.
Filipkowski sent out a screenshot of The Post Millennial's coverage in a tweet and said that "the Right uses this stuff to win elections and then pass laws and appoint judges to take away your rights."
In a video he posted under the original tweet, Filipkowski said, "What right wingers do is they film these pride parades. They're watching the news feeds and they are hoping and praying, they're waiting for one knucklehead... with a kid in the background that they can get on camera."
Former Star Trek actor George Takei also weighed in, expressing his opinion that right-wingers would "push the same agenda" even if "there were no naked guys on bikes this year."
He then appeared to suggest that adults should not be encouraged to keep themselves covered around children, proclaiming, "There’s no 'fixing' this by calling for self-censoring."
This year at the Seattle pride parade, according to The Post Millennial report, there were about a dozen naked men riding their bikes in front of many children. They were taking part in the parade.
Krassenstein also took to Twitter and reacted to the videos posted.
He reacted to Libs of TikTok sharing the report online. He said, "Libs of TikTok tweeted out a video of naked men on bicycles in order to make the point that naked men on bicycles should not be parading in front of kids (I agree)."
After others responded to his initial tweet, he replied to comments and made three separate points saying, "Seeing a man naked on a bike isn't going to have much of an impact on any kid. They have likely seen their father or brother naked before."
"Sharing an uncensored video of naked men on a bike to an audience of possibly 30 million kids... is arguably worse," he added.
He concluded, saying, "There are much worse things the average kid will see or hear online and offline in a typical week."
In one post reply, Krassenstein noted that he does think it should be illegal for adults to expose themselves to children.
His tweet currently has over 3.5 million views. Many of the replies are critical of Krassenstein's take on the issue.

The Seattle parade took place the same day as the Toronto pride parade. Both had reports of nudity being exposed to children.
