Premier Doug Ford talked about how the government is sending people door-to-door in an effort to get more people to take the coronavirus vaccine during a press conference on Thursday.
People must really want this vaccine if the government is going door-to-door to try to give it away. https://t.co/xvHUK6dgZO

"People must really want this vaccine if the government is going door-to-door to try to give it away," reads the tweet. The original tweet reads in turn, "Doug Ford says that Ontario is door knocking at older people's condos to give them the COVID vaccines."
In the tweet's video, Ford can be heard talking about how many "70-year-olds haven't signed up, and outside [we have been] literally door-knocking and getting 'em.... uh, or mobiling in, us going to neighbourhoods, which we're doing, and we're gonna be there to support 'em."
"And there's still a whole bunch of 80-plus [-year-old people] haven't signed up. So we're going into those neighbourhoods and literally going into condos and we'll be door-knocking."
Responses to the tweet are to-the-point, pointing out the potential problems with canvassing in pro of the coronavirus vaccine:
REFUSAL: "courts have reaffirmed repeatedly a patient's right to refuse treatment even when...necessary to preserve the life or health of the patient. Physicians must...explain the consequences of the refusal without creating a perception of coercion..." https://t.co/gJDtivhEHA
