Brown announced on social media that it was "time to help make real change."
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has announced that he will be speaking at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
Brown, who played for the Steelers from the start of his NFL career until his trade to the Raiders in 2018, has gained attention in recent years for his bold and often controversial social media presence. In recent days, he has used his platform to express support for Trump.
Earlier this week, Brown posted on X that it was “time to help make real change,” alongside a screenshot of an email confirming his participation in the event. The email read: “Hello! We are excited to have you provide remarks in the pre-program ahead of President Donald J. Trump’s president Donald J. Trump’s Rally in Latrobe, PA on Saturday, October 19, 2024. You will have 3 minutes for your speech.”
The rally is set to take place at 6 pm at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe. However, it remains unclear if Brown will actually speak at the event, as the Trump campaign has not yet released a confirmed list of speakers.
Brown’s potential appearance at the rally is part of Trump’s ongoing efforts to court voters in Pennsylvania, a key swing state in the upcoming election. Over the last week, billionaire Elon Musk has been working to engage with Pennsylvania voters, publicly voicing his support for Trump.
With the voter registration deadline in the state fast approaching on October 21, polls show a tight race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in the state. Pennsylvania is considered a critical battleground, with both parties recognizing the state as essential to securing an Electoral College victory.
