Elon Musk on Wednesday announced that he will be giving a series of talks throughout Pennsylvania over the rest of the week and weekend. The events are free, but attendees must sign the petition from his America PAC in support of free speech and gun rights and have voted in PA.

"Tomorrow night through Monday, I will be giving a series of talks throughout Pennsylvania," Musk wrote. "If you’d like to attend one of my talks, there’s no attendance fee. You just need to have signed our petition supporting free speech & right to bear arms & have voted in this election." He clarified in a follow-up post that the vote must have been cast in Pennsylvania. This comes ahead of the October 21 deadline to register to vote in the crucial swing state.

The petition was launched earlier in October by The America PAC, in which those who refer swing state voters to sign will receive $47 dollars for each registration, referencing the number that the next president will be, ideally for Musk that would be Trump. The petition is in support of the Constitution’s First and Second Amendments.

The petition came after Musk joined 2024 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on stage at his second Butler, Pennsylvania rally, urging attendees to register to vote and saying Trump must win to protect free speech and the right to bear arms.

"The other side wants to take away your freedom of speech. They want to take away your right to bear arms," Musk said of Kamala Harris. He later said, "President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America." He told the audience that free speech depends on electing Trump, adding that "you must have free speech in order to have democracy."

Following the assassination attempt on Trump’s life at his first Butler rally, Musk endorsed Trump, writing, "I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery."

A Federal Election Commission filing has revealed that Musk has donated nearly $75 million to his America PAC between July and September, with the PAC spending around $72 million. The PAC was created "to support these key values: Secure Borders, Sensible Spending, Safe Cities, Fair Justice System, Free Speech, Self-Protection."
