Four Israeli hostages were rescued in Gaza with aid from US intelligence on Saturday. The operation comes as Israel has gone into the last areas of Gaza where Hamas has been keeping the hostages taken on October 7, 2023.

The Israeli Defense Forces released a statement on Saturday stating: "It has been cleared for publication that in a complex operation by the IDF, Shin Bet, and the Yamam unit of the Israel police four Israeli hostages were rescued this morning (Saturday). The hostages, Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were kidnapped by Hamas to the Gaza Strip from the 'Nova' party on October 7th."

The statement from the IDF was published in the Jerusalem Post. Axios reporter Barak Ravid also reported that a American cell helped the IDF in order to rescue the hostages.

Ravid posted online, saying, "A U.S. official told me that the U.S. hostages cell in Israel supported the effort to rescue the four hostages."

The New York Times reported that US intelligence helped in the operation to rescue the hostages. Ravid also posted a picture online of Noa Argamani, who was reunited with her father early on Saturday.

Harrowing video of her Oct. 7 kidnapping from the Nova music festival has been shared on social media.

"She was held hostage for eight months. Her mother is dying of cancer and her last wish was to see her alive," Ravid reported.

Per the Jerusalem Post, the medical condition of the hostages is stable and have been sent to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer for further examination.

IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari spoke about the operation, saying, "The IDF and Yamam infiltrated two facilities while under fire by Hamas terrorists. A Yamam soldier was seriously injured in the operation and has just reached the hospital. We pray for his well-being."

"We will continue to do everything to return the 120 hostages still held in Gaza. We are confident that we will reach you, and this operation will not end until you are returned home."

Thank G-d they are home. Praying the rest will soon follow.

'Ravid posted online, saying, "A U.S. official told me that the U.S. hostages cell in Israel supported the effort to rescue the four hostages." ... The New York Times reported that US intelligence helped in the operation to rescue the hostages.' Do we have any confirmation from the IDF that this is the case? Or is the US simply taking credit?
