Grade 6 student stabbed by another child in math class

On Thursday morning, an incident during math class at a Fort Worth middle school terminated in a boy being stabbed.

On Thursday morning, a boy was stabbed by another student during math class at a Fort Worth middle school.

The incident took place at Handley Middle School, an ISD school in the eastern part of the Fort Worth area, which in turn forms part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.

The stabbing victim is now with his family. His fellow student accused of the stabbing is being interviewed by local authorities.

According to local news outlet NBC5, two boys were in math class and got involved in a confrontation with one another. One boy stabbed the other boy in the arm with a knife.

The victim's injury is thought not to be serious, and he is expected to recover fully.
