Agitators were seen burning and ripping up a Canadian flag during a protest in British Columbia.
While Jewish mourners gathered to remember the victims of the attacks and pray for the safe return of hostages seized by Hamas in Montreal, anti-Israel radicals wrapped in keffiyehs while waving Palestinian flags, marched through downtown what and smashed the doors and windows of a building named after Israeli-Canadian billionaire Sylvan Adams that was under construction at McGill University.
According to City News, police were forced to use tear gas to chase off the rioters.
Similar scenes played out in other major Canadian cities as rioters praised the October 7 terrorist as "heroes."
Over 20,000 people in Toronto gathered to remember the victims of the terror attacks in Israel one year ago, but antisemitic activists marched through the streets setting off smoke bombs while chanting “Allahu Akbar.” Students at Toronto Metropolitan University even held a vigil for the dead terrorists. The Post Millennial's Beth Baisch captured footage of the protest, where multiple people were seen counter protesting.
Agitators were seen burning and ripping up a Canadian flag during a protest in BC, as well.
Video posted to X by Jarryd Jaeger shows a crowd cheering on the act and chanting pro-Palestinian slogans while several lighters were held to the flag, as the protesters apparently forgot to bring any kind of accelerant to actually ignite the flag.
Protesters can be heard chanting, “Israel, burn burn, Palestinians shall return” while a poorly lit flag drops half-lit fibres onto the concrete below them.
Conservative deputy leader Melissa Lantsman posted the video to X, stating: “The pro terror mob is now burning a Canadians flag in the streets of Vancouver after a year of lawlessness and escalation everyday with no consequences.
