Elon Musk slammed Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) on Monday after the lawmaker accused the DOGE head of "rummaging through [Americans'] personal sh*t." This comes after Musk posted data appearing to show that many people marked "alive" on the rolls for social security were supposedly over 110 years old.

Musk posted the numbers late on Sunday evening, sparking media reports, which led to Fetterman's post and accusations against Musk. "I want to save billions of your money and make our government more efficient. Rummaging through your personal sh*t is *not* that. A party of chaos loses—always."

Musk responded to Fetterman, writing on X while sharing the numbers again, "Bruh, if I wanted to rummage through random personal sh*t, I could have done that at PAYPAL. Hello???"

"Having tens of millions of people marked in Social Security as 'ALIVE' when they are definitely dead is a HUGE problem. Obviously. Some of these people would have been alive before America existed as a country. Think about that for a second," Musk added.

When Musk originally posted the photo of the figures, he said, "According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE! Maybe Twilight is real and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security," leading to many online to accuse the federal government of being complicit in massive amounts of Social Security fraud.

In another post, Musk said that there are "FAR more ‘eligible’ social security numbers than there are citizens in the USA. This might be the biggest fraud in history."
