Late on Sunday afternoon, an 21-year old man was shot while walking with his family near Times Square, the NY Post reports.

The shooting occurred just meters from where "a 4-year-old girl and two others were struck by gunfire last month" according to the Post.

It is unclear at this time what condition the man is in, but police expect him to survive.

"Police recovered shell casings on West 45th Street outside the Minskoff Theatre, sources added — one block where shots rang out on May 8, leaving three people injured," the Post reports.

Police are currently searching for two men according to police sources.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
