After Morning Joe was pulled on Monday, Joe Scarborough took to the airwaves on Tuesday to complain. It was pulled because the network did not want the liberal pundits to make any "inappropriate comments" after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump last weekend.

Scarborough began the Tuesday broadcast by saying that he and other hosts were told on Sunday evening that there would be a breaking news feed across all NBC News channels in order to cover any updates on Trump. "That didn't happen," Scarborough said of the cross-channel broadcast. "We don't know why that was that didn't happen. Our team was not given a good answer as to why that didn't happen, but it didn't happen."

"We were also told it was going to happen throughout the day. And I guess, after there was such strong blowback about yesterday morning, I guess they changed their plans," he added. "We were very surprised. We were very disappointed. And if we had known that there wasn't going to be the one news feed from NBC News across all MSNBC news channels, Willie, we obviously would have been in yesterday morning," Scarborough told another MSNBC pundit. The left-wing host added that “they can get somebody else to host the show” if the situation ever happens again.

It was reported that the Monday broadcast of "Morning Joe" was pulled out of fear that the hosts would make "inappropriate comments" in light of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. In a statement about pulling the episode, MSNBC had said, "Given the gravity and complexity of this unfolding story, NBC News, NBC News NOW and MSNBC have remained in rolling breaking news coverage since Saturday evening. As we continue to cover this story into the week, the networks will continue to cross simulcast, alternating between NBC News, NBC News NOW and ‘MSNBC Reports,’ so there is one news feed covering this developing situation."

'....network did not want the liberal pundits to make any "inappropriate comments" If that was the case, morning Joe should never have been on the air in the first place.
