"Holy shlit she’s hosed."
Three weeks after the 2024 presidential election that saw Donald Trump come out victorious, losing Democratic candidate Kamala Harris released a video telling her supporters that they "have the same power that you did before November 5."
"I just have to remind you, don’t you ever let anybody take your power from you. You have the same power that you did before November 5. And you have the same purpose that you did, and you have the same ability to engage and inspire. So don’t ever let anybody or any circumstance take your power from you," Harris said in a video posted to the Democratic Party’s official X account.
The video was widely panned by users on the platform, with many questioning whether the Vice President was drunk when she filmed the video.
"Have you been drinking," actor Kevin Sorbo asked.
"Holy shlit she’s hosed," wrote Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec.
Comedian Tim Young wrote, "Why would the Democrats put this video out of a clearly drunk Kamala?? They want her career over."
"Is this a...joke? It's a terrible video. Yikes," wrote Washington Examiner contributor Kimberly Ross.
Others questioned how the video was approved for posting.
"They wouldn’t let her go on Joe Rogan but they let her do this," wrote American Principles Project president Terry Schilling.
Former Trump White House advisor Ben Williamson wrote, "I’d read a 5,000 word article on how this got approved for release."
"No video like this would ever have been released by a politician who is not hated by her staff," wrote Senior National Review Online writer Dan McLaughlin.
According to Fox News, the clip came from a call that Harris had with donors and volunteers with her campaign earlier in the day. The call was the first time she addressed her election loss since conceding the race earlier in the month. Since the election, Harris has largely been out of the spotlight and was seen vacationing in Hawaii with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
"The outcome of this election obviously is not what we wanted. It is not what we worked so hard for. But I am proud of the race we ran, and your role in this was critical. What we did in 107 days was unprecedented," Harris said.
