"If @SeanHannity wants to claim his show is ‘fair and balanced,’ then bring me on, in-studio with @DrOz and let’s have a fair and balanced discussion."

After Pennsylvania Republican Candidate for US Senate Kathy Barnette publicly asked to come on the Sean Hannity show, the Fox News host responded in a series of tweets.

He further claimed that it'd be "NOT fair and balanced to the other candidates in the race" to have her debate Oz on his program Monday night, in terms of giving everyone air time.

Hannity proposed that he could fit in a debate on his radio show this Monday "which now airs on 675 stations around the country, if the other candidates agree to participate."

Barnette initially responded to Wednesday night’s Sean Hannity segment with Dr. Oz where he tried to paint her past Twitter statements as "problematic."

The Fox News host had welcomed candidate Oz and doubled-down on supporting him as a candidate. Kathy Barnette took to Twitter to ask Hannity that she be given a chance to tell her viewpoint.

"If @SeanHannity wants to claim his show is 'fair and balanced,' then bring me on, in-studio with @DrOz and let’s have a fair and balanced discussion. I'm blocking out 9pm on Monday, just for you Sean. Ratings will be huge! See you then."

When it comes to the backdrop of the discussion, places like CNN and Business Insider put out pieces on Thursday that highlighted past comments Barnette made criticizing Muslims and the LGBT community.

Despite that, CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski defended Barnette against the smear campaign being levelled against her by members of Trump World.

They’re "really trying to sink her candidacy," Kaczynski added.

During last week’s debate between Pennsylvania’s Republican Senate primary candidates, Barnette called out Dr. Oz on stage for his viewpoints on abortion. Barnette revealed publicly that she was a product of rape and that her mother was only 11-years-old at the time of her conception.

With the fervor surrounding abortion protests given the Roe v. Wade draft leak, Barnette’s past social media history indicates as far back as June 2015, she believes Black Lives Matter should’ve focused more of their attention on how many black babies are aborted on a yearly basis.

Recent polling showed that it’s nearly a three-way tie between Oz (24.5 percent), Kathy Barnette (23.2 percent) , and Dave McCormick (21.6 percent).

The prominence of Dr. Mehmet Oz in the Pennsylvania Republican Senate primaries first came about after Trump endorsed his candidacy. According to Fox News, former Trump appointee Jack Brewer felt compelled to say Trump was wrong for doing so, as he pledged his support for Kathy Barnette.

Former President Trump made a statement on Thursday directed at Barnette, discouraging his base from supporting her ahead of next week’s primary.

"Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats. She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party—and I will be behind her all the way," Trump posted on social media.
