Protesters participating in the “No Kings” demonstrations in New York City on Saturday were seen holding signs labeling several well-known Democrats and public figures as “Antifa,” including Gavin Newsom, Zohran Mamdani, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Jimmy Kimmel.

Footage posted by Turning Point USA’s Frontlines’ Savanah Hernandez showed protesters carrying posters depicting these notable democrats with the word “ANTIFA” printed above their images. Other signs read “No detentions,” and marchers were seen alongside a large banner that read “All Nazis go to hell.”

The signs come as the Trump administration last month designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. The order characterized Antifa as a “militarist, anarchist enterprise,” though its activists try to argue that Antifa is not an organized group and is a term for protesters who are against fascism. Kimmel, for example, recently claimed on his show that Antifa is “an entirely imaginary organization,” adding that the Trump administration’s actions are "no different than if they announced they rounded up a dozen Decepticons.”

The anti-Trump “No Kings” protests took place nationwide on Saturday, with nearly 2,000 separate demonstrations reported. This marks the second annual “No Kings Day” under the Trump administration.

In New York City, police estimated that more than 100,000 people took part in the demonstrations. The NYPD reported no protest-related arrests. Crowds of protesters flooded Times Square, resulting in 7th Avenue being closed to vehicular traffic. Protesters were heard chanting “shut it down” and holding signs with messages such as “make billionaires pay.”

Many prominent democrats promoted the nationwide protests. Former Vice President Kamala Harris encouraged her party to take to the streets, writing in a post on Friday, "Tomorrow, October 18, I encourage you to join your neighbors in peaceful protest at a No Kings event."
