“I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics for doing my job."
“No one will get away with threatening or intimidating our great US Attorneys or the destruction of their offices,” Bondi wrote.
The suspect, 51-year-old Keith Michael Lisa of California, was identified Thursday and a warrant was issued for his arrest, along with a $25,000 FBI reward for information that would lead to his arrest. According to the FBI, Lisa allegedly tried to enter the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building on Wednesday while carrying a bat but was denied entry. He then discarded the bat, reentered the building, and allegedly damaged property while shouting incoherently.
Habba, who previously served as President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, was inside the office at the time but was not injured.
“We got him,” Habba posted on X following the arrest. “This [Justice Department] under [Attorney General Pam Bondi] and our federal partners will not tolerate any acts of intimidation or violence toward law enforcement … Now justice will handle him.”
Lisa has been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon in a federal facility and depredation of federal property. “I will not be intimidated by radical lunatics for doing my job,” Habba wrote in a separate post on Thursday.
