After a reduction of former President Donald Trump's bond to $175 million from $454 million in the case brought by New York AG Letitia James, MSNBC guest and pundit Tristan Snell reacted in anger saying that Trump is shown favorability with his own "private system of justice."

The civil fraud case against Trump brought by James originally had a bond of $454 million set to be due on Monday. However, that number was overruled by the appeals court, which said that the former president could have a reduced bond down to $175 million alone.

During a segment on the network, Snell, the former Assistant New York Attorney General, said, "Honestly, this is so infuriating I don't even know what to do. I don't even know if I care what the process is that these judges are arriving at—whatever it is it's flawed."

The pundit continued saying that Trump has his own "private plane" and that he "basically fashioned himself his own private militia to try to take over the Capitol."

"You know, now he's getting his own private system of justice. This is an absolute travesty. It would not happen for anybody else. Anybody else it would be like 'Sorry, buddy, you lost, pay up.' For him. He gets his own set of rules," Snell added.

Others on the panel asked the commentator about how that could be "legally" done.

The appellate court was able to overturn the decision as a result of Trump's appeal in the case and Snell described the action as a "swoop in" to save Trump.

Snell later added, "In my view, this is without knowing more and less there was some sort of other extenuating circumstance that we're going to learn here. This appears to be an absolute gross miscarriage of justice."
