Tensions flared between Pride attendees and Christian demonstrators during Toronto’s 44th annual Pride Parade weekend on Saturday, including attendees chanting that "Jesus is gay."
Amid the festivities, confrontations kicked off between attendees and religious demonstrators. In one video, a group of participants in the Dyke March can be seen chanting “Jesus is gay!” while passing by a small cluster of Christian protestors holding signs.
Marchers shouted “God loves dykes!” as they passed a similar group.
Scenes of sexually explicit conduct also drew attention, including a moment when two men dressed in “pup play” fetish attire engaged in public displays of affection directly in front of religious protestors lining the parade route.
Friday’s Trans March featured a version of the Canadian flag altered with the trans pride, as seen on video posted to The Post Millennial's X account.
Saturday’s Dyke March also saw signs reading “God is a lesbian” and chants of “Thank God for lesbians!” used to drown out a street preacher attempting to speak over the crowd.
Making an appearance on Sunday were members of the governing Liberal Party of Canada. Many were seen wearing a shirt referring to Prime Minister Mark Carney as "Big Daddy."
The event remains one of the largest Pride parades in North America.
