MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is set to make a highly anticipated return to live selling on Friday, teaming up with MARKET.live to launch a series of new shows.

According to Benzinga, the series of shows is set to premiere on November 10, 2023, on Verb Technology Company Inc.’s social shopping platform, with the shows being designed to allow customers and fans to easily shop through videos and engage directly with Lindell and co-host Tiffany Bucciarelli of the MARKET.live show 'Life-Styled with Tiffany & Sergio'.

"I’m constantly asked by my fans and customers when I would return to live selling," Lindell told Yahoo Finance. "While we’ve had enormous success with televised live selling over the years, changes in technology have produced changes in how people shop."

"Televised shopping shows are far less popular and far less effective than they were over the past decade. Today, people prefer a mobile-friendly shopping experience, allowing them to shop where and when they want, and not just through static images.

"We want to offer MyPillow fans and customers the ability to shop through videos where they can engage directly with us, and even with other MyPillow shoppers, live, in real-time, and purchase our amazing products that we’ll feature in the live videos quickly and easily through on-screen clickable icons. We intend to be at the forefront of livestream shopping and that’s why we selected Verb’s MARKET.live as our livestream partner of choice," he said.

Verb CEO Rory J. Cutaia told the outlet, "We’re thrilled to welcome Mike Lindell and the MyPillow brand to MARKET.live. MARKET.live represents a perfect opportunity for the millions of MyPillow fans to engage directly with Mike and the ever-expanding catalogue of incredible top quality MyPillow products."

MARKET.live hosts hundreds of shows on its platform, from small creators up to big-box brick and mortar staples. Shoppers can ask the hosts questions during live streams, invite friends to shop with them, and chat with others in real time.

Verb has also struck a deal with TikTok to allow MARKET.live’s integration with the social media platform’s shop feature.

Livestream sales are expected to reach 5 percent of all e-commerce sales in the US by 2026. Sales in China indicate that the US market could boom past this, as it is projected that livestream sales would account for 19 percent of all e-commerce sales in China in 2023.
