NBC and ABC are now calling for a Trump win in the state of North Carolina and for Biden to win in Georgia in two grippingly close races for the remaining electoral votes up for grabs.
Either way, the winner in each state will have won by a razor-thin margin in what could be described as the most hotly contested presidential election in US history.
According to Bloomberg News, the Trump campaign has refused to concede the election, mounting legal challenges of various natures in various places across the nation, alleging many different kinds of fraud in the electoral process.
Biden still maintains a substantial lead, but the lawsuits being filed allege that rectifying the amount of fraudulent votes could easily turn the tables in Trump's favor if enough of the legal challenges fall on Trump's side.
In the state of Arizona, a ballot review is currently underway in what is also an extremely close race for the state's electoral votes. Biden leads by approximately 11,000 votes, and different sources give different amounts of votes left to be counted as of this report.
There was a lawsuit recently dropped by the Trump team, as authorities appear to now be complying as per what was listed in the legal complaint. Another lawsuit initiated by the Arizona Republican Party is still active and pending.
