Arizona: Maricopa county could seal the deal for Trump
Although most news outlets have already called Arizona in Biden’s favor, the race is too close to call.

The fight for Arizona's 11 electoral votes could come down to a narrowing contest in the state’s most populated region of Maricopa County. As of 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, Biden holds a slight lead at 51.4 percent with Trump trailing at 47.2 percent. According to NBC News, 86 percent of the projected vote has been counted, which leaves more than a tenth undecided.
Should Trump take the county, it might be enough to flip the state. Although most news outlets have already called Arizona in Biden’s favor, the race is too close to call.

Reporting from AZCentral, most recently updated on November 5 at 1:30 a.m., noted that Maricopa released the results of 140,000 votes which were counted late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning. Trump won that batch of ballots by a 57-40 margin over Biden, closing the divide between the two candidates. Where the county started deep blue, the contest has become a close one.
Approximately 470,000 votes remain uncounted in Maricopa. If Trump manages to hang on to that 57 percent margin over Biden in the remaining uncounted votes, he would take Maricopa.
Emma Hall, a member of the Republican National Committee doesn't think the race is over just yet.
"Once again, the mainstream media jumped the gun by calling Arizona for Joe Biden. As these outstanding ballots will show, a record number of Arizonans turned out to re-elect President Trump, keep the Grand Canyon State red, and continue the Great American Comeback," Hall said.
