Times Square in New York City was lit up by the nativity scene to celebrate Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ and video of it has gone viral online. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints initially posted the video for its Light the World campaign.
On Nov. 27, as people were going about their business in Times Square, billboards went dark at the same time to reveal the scene of the nativity and silent night played over loudspeakers.
