Black Lives Matter activists mocked the death of Bothell police officer, Jonathan Shoop, who was fatally shot by his partner during a traffic stop gone wrong.
On Monday, Shoop was shot in the head by a round fired by a fellow officer in an instance of "friendly fire" during a traffic stop that turned into a gunfight. Henry Eugene Washington, who fired two rounds into the police patrol SUV, has since been charged with first-degree murder.
Shoop, 32, was in the driver's seat when his training officer Mustafa Kumcur, who was in the passenger seat, when both officers were fired upon twice by Washington, who got out and approached their vehicle.
According to the Seattle Times, one of Washington's rounds hit Kumcur's forearm and ricocheted, striking the officer in the head and causing a deep graze wound.
Both Shoop and Kumcur returned fire at Washington. Shoop was struck in the head when he got caught in the crossfire.
On social media, conservative activist Katie Daviscourt highlighted a protest held by Black Lives Matter activists who cheered on Shoop's death.
“The only sad thing about Bothell was that poor a**hole who got ran over on a scooter," said one activist.
Another activist, who spoke on a loudspeaker said, "No real lives were lost. No real people were lost.”

View on XDaviscourt's comment that protesters and rioters are desensitizing the death of human beings appears valid, as many lives have been assaulted and lost amid the death of George Floyd, including a number of police officers.
