Authorities in Florida are reporting that the brutal killing of 14-year-old Ryan Rogers in Palm Beach, Florida last month was an alleged racially motivated attack.
Semmie Williams, the 39-year-old black male accused of fatally stabbing Ryan Rogers in Palm Beach Gardens, allegedly used racial slurs while being processed at Palm Beach County jail and called an officer a "white devil" after fighting him, court documents show.
On the night of Nov. 15, Williams allegedly stabbed Ryan Rogers multiple times in the face and head near an I-95 overpass. Rogers was on a bike ride when approached by the suspect where he died during the horrific attack, according to police reports.
Officer Michael McCabe wrote in an incident report that suspect Semmie Williams used racially motivated slurs during correctional facility processing.
"While fingerprinting his left hand, I asked him if he understood the charges," Officer McCabe wrote in a report. "He stated, 'Yea, murder, because of what they did to black people about giving them syphilis.'"
While getting processed into Palm Beach county jail, Williams began to fight officer McCabe which resulted in multiple officers slamming the suspect to the ground to detain him.
During this time, the suspect allegedly shouted, "White devil! If y'all didn't help him, I was going to whoop his a**," the incident report shows.

Authorities allege that due to William's anti-white verbiage the motive behind the suspect killing Ryan Rogers could have to do with his skin-color being white.
In addition to the brutal murder of Rogers, suspect Semmie Williams is a repeat violent offender that has a 16-page rap sheet.
Williams allegedly confessed to killing Rogers to jail guards despite initially denying the accusations to police officers and is being without bail on first-degree murder charges.
