Cuomo aide alleges ‘Luv Gov’ groped her ‘aggressively’ at Governor’s Mansion

The story that first broke at the Times Union and detailed how the aide claimed Cuomo "aggressively groped her" after summoning her to the governor’s mansion last year. This allegation is in addition to a fifth allegation published by the Times Union Tuesday.

The excuse given for summoning her was reported to be phone problems. This set up the female aide and Cuomo to be alone together on the second floor of the mansion. She allegedly told him to stop. Her identity is being kept anonymous but is described as "much younger." She claimed Cuomo frequently flirted with her and there were other incidents of touching.

What stands out is that this woman currently works for Cuomo. Times Union said the woman in question was within the governor’s own Executive Chambers on March 3 and saw Cuomo’s press conference where he denied "inappropriately" touching anyone. The newest accuser claimed she grew emotional, and caught the attention of a supervisor who asked for more detail.

This claim added to an ever-growing pile of incidents currently being investigated by attorneys appointed by State Attorney General Letitia James.

This is aside from the other ongoing controversy facing the New York Governor. Since yesterday, Cuomo’s controversial pandemic guidance is now revealed to have included forcing homes for the disabled to accept COVID patients. This scandal has caused the publisher of Cuomo’s book to stop promoting it.
