Never Trumper and self-proclaimed “principled” conservative Rick Wilson expressed his wish that First Lady Melania Trump get infected with coronavirus.
Wilson tweeted “#BeInfected” in response to a CNN Politics tweet that read: “First lady Melania Trump to appear in public health PSAs on the coronavirus.” Melania Trump is set to provide the American public with common sense advice in the ongoing war against the China-borne novel coronavirus, or COVID-19.
Wilson is known for his anti-Trump activism. In addition to being the author of Running Against the Devil: A Plot to Save America from Trump, Wilson has appeared on countless cable news shows denouncing the president and promoting the now debunked Russiagate hoax.
Wilson was recently lambasted for his appearance on CNN with Don Lemon and co-guest Wajahat Ali, who mocked Trump supporters, calling them “tin-toothed rubes” and mocking their intelligence.
