EXCLUSIVE: 'Decolonize Palestine' organizer for Michigan Dem William Lawrence claims Charlie Kirk 'got what he f*cking got'
"Charlie Kirk incited a lot of violence and he encouraged a lot of violence. And sometimes you get what you f*cking get."

A field organizer for Democratic Socialist of America-aligned (DSA) candidate William Lawrence in Michigan—despite saying that it was “bad” that Charlie Kirk was assassinated—justified the shooting, claiming that Kirk "incited a lot of violence, and sometimes you get what you f*cking get." Lawrence is running in Michigan's 7th Congressional District and has billed himself as an average progressive.
In video obtained by The Post Millennial, Adrian Slear, a field organizer for Lawrence, told an undercover journalist that Charlie Kirk’s murder was essentially justified. "Someone gets shot with a gun: violence bad," the man with a "Decolonize Palestine" shirt said.

View on X"Whoever did that bad," he added, then stating that "prior context doesn't matter, that's what we do."
"That's what we did with Charlie Kirk. I mean, umm, it is bad that Charlie Kirk got killed, for our politics and for [unintelligible] people. But then people are unable to…"
"So it's like, my parents, like when I talk to them about it, it's like, 'Well violence is not good. We shouldn't be allowing it.' I'm like yes, but the violence happens. It happens. Sorry it happens. This is a world full of f*cking violence and Charlie Kirk incited a lot of violence and he encouraged a lot of violence. And sometimes you get what you f*cking get."
It has been over a year since Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University campus on September 10, 2025. Kirk was speaking to students and debating when he was shot in the neck and bled out. Tyler Robinson, the man charged with his murder, will go to trial and is facing capital punishment for the crime he admitted to in multiple contexts.
Slear's comments, although couched in the phrasing that Kirk's killed was "bad" are similar to many others on the left who shrugged or celebrated Kirk's killing, with some even calling the 1-year mark the "Kirkiversary."
Lawrence, who has claimed that he is not associated with the DSA anymore after he let his membership lapse during the Democrat primary for the district, is a founder of the far-left Sunrise Movement group that pushed for the implementation of the Green New Deal. He has a strong history associated with the DSA.
He has deleted hundreds of posts with support of abolishing the police. He has also been arrested for resisting police during a protest in 2013, per Fox News.
He has called for the "forced nationalization" of oil companies and that there is a need for a "fundamental overhaul of the Constitution."
