Jake Tapper producer fired following discovery of inappropriate relationship with senior producer
“Jake was made aware of it and acted quickly. Someone discovered something accidentally, and brought it to Tapper. He delivered it to [human resources], and they were terminated,” one source said.
A top CNN employee who served as Jake Tapper’s executive producer for 10 years has reportedly been fired following the discovery of an inappropriate relationship with a fellow colleague.
Sources told the New York Post’s Page Six that Federico Quadrani, who is married, was fired from the network late last week, following an HR-led investigation into rumors of an inappropriate relationship with a senior producer.

"There were some complaints. No one had proof, and these things are hard to prove. Jake was aware of the investigation," one source said.
Shortly before Quadrani was set to be cleared by the investigation, Tapper was "presented with something that he couldn’t ignore" as of last Wednesday, and by Friday, Quadrani was out from the network.
"Jake was made aware of it and acted quickly. Someone discovered something accidentally, and brought it to Tapper. He delivered it to [human resources], and they were terminated," one source said.
According to Page Six, Quadrani moved from his job at MSNBC in New York City in 2013 to work at CNN. He previously worked at "Today" from 2003 to 2009, and was at ABC’s "Good Morning America" from 1998 to 2003.
One source told Page Six that “they’re consenting adults and no one’s particularly feeling like this is some big scandal." Quandrani and the subordinate were "both missing" from CNN’s Washington Bureau on Friday.
The ousting comes around one year since former CNN chief Jeff Zucker resigned over his relationship with top executive Allison Gollust.
