Kamala Harris is set to announce her vice presidential running mate by Tuesday. Harris is expected to hold a rally with that pick in Philadelphia on Tuesday. This all before she has received a single vote from any American voter. Instead, her campaign has been orchestrated by Democrat Party elite on a tidal wave of coordinated media buzz.
After the announcement and the Philly campaign stop, the Kamala campaign is expected to "the barnstorm cities in seven swing states in four days," per Politico. Those states include Wisconsin, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada, making a point to hit the big, blue cities in those locales. Harris has said she's not yet chosen a running mate, someone to fill her VP shoes. On Tuesday, when asked by reporters if she knew who she would choose, she said "not yet." Minnesota Governor Tim Walz along with Kentucky's Governor Andy Beshear are also reportedly under consideration. Shapiro said that he's not heard from Harris since the day Biden left the race and handed it off to Harris, on July 21. Shapiro has been vocal in his support for the former California senator.
Harris held a campaign rally in Atlanta on Tuesday night where Megan Thee Stallion played a concert. Attendees began leaving after the concert, leading to speculation that the woman they had gathered to see was not Harris, but the rap star with the viral hits.
