‘Make up your damn mind!’: Baker Mayfield RIPS into the NFL on COVID rules

"Make up your damn mind on protocols," commented Mayfield on Friday, after he and other players have been benched due to having tested positive. Upcoming games are not to be rescheduled, however, despite the obvious outbreak.

The rules have recently been tightened once again on Thursday, ostensibly because of "the advent of the Omicron variant." "Actually caring about player safety would mean delaying the game with this continuing at the rate it is, but to say you won’t test vaccinated players if they don’t have symptoms, then to pull this randomly. Doesn’t make any sense to me," continued Mayfield, according to TMZ.

They didn't specifically respond as to why games weren't postponed in light of the recent outbreak. Mayfield, however, claims that the games are continuing as scheduled for monetary reasons.

The NFL has had a hard season, with revenues way down as they continue to cling to their "woke" ethos, and fans continue to turn out.
