Mark Levin’s Facebook account restricted on eve of US presidential election

Levin said on Twitter, "Facebook has now placed severe restrictions on my Facebook page on the eve before the election based on an extremely dishonest Politifact review of my link to an accurate story. I will not be intimidated or threatened by Facebook. You can also find my posts on Twitter and Parler."

The tweet was accompanied by a screenshot from his Facebook account, which stated that his page has "reduced distribution and other restrictions because of a repeated sharing of false news."

Levin recently released and article and shared it on Facebook, entitled, "Biden Stumbles Through Another Campaign Speech: 'America Is Dead Because Of COVID-19.'" The article had a link to video evidence where Biden was speaking at one of his rallies and said exactly "America is dead because of COVID-19."

Levin went on: "And I listened to the audio myself. Biden said America is dead but FB dinged this as partly false on my site when I linked to it from another site due to leftwing Politifact's opinion as a third party reviewer. Well, this is all fascistic crap," referring to the fact that Politifact, one of the fact-checking agencies used by Facebook, considers the news to be fake, despite the clear video evidence.

The big social media outlets like Twitter and Facebook (which now owns Instagram) have come under fire by the public and also by the US government recently, facing two separate subpoenas from different US Senate Committees.

Incidents such as the now famous censorship of the New York Post, and consequently the blocking and suspension of the Twitter accounts of the White House Secretary of State and the House Judiciary Committee have been a part of the alleged wrongdoings by social media.
