At the White House presser on Thursday, Chanel Rion of OAN asked the president a two-part question about whether or not the term “Chinese virus” was racist.

A letter left at One America News Network's desk at the White House gave off a threatening tone after one of their reporters asked President Trump about mainstream media running with Chinese Communist Party narratives.
At the White House presser on Thursday, Chanel Rion asked the president a two-part question about whether or not the term "Chinese virus" was racist.
Rion first asked, "Do you consider the term Chinese food racist, because it's food that originates in China?"
To which Trump answered, "I don't think it's racist at all."

View on X"Major left wing news media have teamed up with Communist China Party narratives and claim you are racist for making these claims against Chinese virus. Is it alarming that media players are consistantly siding with foreign state propaganda, islamic radicals, and latin gangs and cartels, and they work right here in the White House with direct access to you and your team," asked Rion, to which Trump replied with the following.
"It amazes me when I read the things that I read. It amazes me when I read the Wall Street Journal, always so negative... The New York Times, we don't even distribute it in the White House anymore, and the same thing with the Washington Post," said Trump.
"They use different slogans and different concepts for me almost every week, trying to catch something."
"It is fake news. It's corrupt news," said Trump of the term "Chinese Virus."
Trump later joked, "We should get rid of about 75 or 80 percent of you. There's only two or three of you I like."
OAN anchor Jack Posobiec posted a photo shortly after the presser, of an anonymous letter left for Chanel Rion. The letter simply read, "Do you think your question was helpful in halting the spread of the coronavirus?"

This is a direct threat against [One America News Network] for having the audacity to aska question at a press conference. Where does this lead?

View on XThe Chinese Communist Party has been in full damage-control mode since the Chinese virus outbreak, silencing journalists within their country and attempting desperately to salvage their international image.
One of their methods include minimizing their culpability, blaming the United States for the virus, and labeling those who blame China for the outbreak as "racist."
